Harold Traylor “T Mac” McDonald

Harold Traylor “T Mac” McDonald, 79. of LaGrange, GA passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020, at West Georgia Hospice.

Mr. McDonald was born July 27, 1940, in LaGrange, son of the late Allen Traylor McDonald and Frances Neely McDonald. He was a 1958 graduate of LaGrange High School and was a Christian in faith. Mr. McDonald proudly served his country in the United States Navy and retired from the City of LaGrange as a Code Enforcement Officer.

He also worked for Traylor Construction, Batson Cook and Knight & Knight Construction companies. He was a DJ and Co-Owner at T Mac’s Bar and Spring House Inn, was an avid gardener and designer of all things.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Melissa Kelley McDonald; daughter, Luci Francine McDonald; two brothers, Allen Jackson McDonald and Francis Lee McDonald; niece, Carol McDonald Toney.

Survivors include his daughter, Dee (Kevin) Hendrix; granddaughter, Heather Michelle Hendrix; nephew, Michael (Martene) McDonald; great nephews, Wes and Ian McDonald, all of the Atlanta area; nephew, Mac McDonald; nieces, Janet Rowland and Ann Luckey; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Laura Kelley of Marietta, GA and their children, Quinn and Patrick Kelley; special cousins, Alice Jones, Ida Middlebrooks of Durand, Georgia and several other cousins; his faithful companion, Hushabye.

A Graveside Service will be held 4 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2020, in the Hillview Annex Cemetery. The family and friends will gather at the home of his daughter immediately following the service.
