Arthur Lewis Putmon

1946-2020

Mr. Arthur Lewis Putmon passed away Friday.

He was born Jan. 24, 1946, in Troup and Harris County, Georgia to the late Karie and Annie Ruth Putmon. 

He was employed by Hobart’s Kitchen Aid Equipment and later at Gopher’s Bumper Plate.

 He is survived by two sons:  James (Sanita) Wright, Lithonia, Georgia; Deon Flowers, Minneapolis, Minnesota; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren; two brothers:  Carl Putmon and Ricky Parker; three sisters:  Thelma (Eddie) Jones, Decatur, Georgia; Laverne Elmore, LaGrange; and Minnie (John) Burs, LaGrange; six nieces, ten nephews, and a host of relatives, and friends.

The service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Southview Cemetery. The excellent care of Mr. Putmon is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
